This is a powerful and uplifting gentle yoga class to help you relax and indulge in personal reflection. This class is open to all – prior yoga experience is not necessary. Making the time to relax and let go of one’s constant mind chatter is essential to health and well-being.  This class is designed to FEEL vibrant, energized and to create more balance in your personal life. Class is themed-based around asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath work) with emphasis on self-care, and concludes with Deep Rest.

What is Yoga?

Yoga is the union of body, mind & soul. Rajul’s teaching style is based on embodying & experiencing the different systems of the body, and their connection with the mind. This involves directing our focus to different areas of our body, and initiate the movements from those areas, in relationship to our mind.

Through yoga, we lead to an understanding of how the mind is expressed through the body, and the body through the mind. This leads to the awareness of cells. How we move our body is a direct result of how the mind is expressing through our body, at that moment. When we direct the mind to pay attention to the different areas of the body, and initiate our yoga poses from those areas, we change the quality of our movement. When our inner cellular rhythm is in alignment with our external movement, we are able to feel our connection with the outside world. This inner-outer alignment creates a state of knowing and clarity.
